Workshops & retreats
Making of a Yogi
Workshops, Yoga vacantions and retreats let us take time for ourselves, share our experiences and live a story together.
Take part to a deep transformation in a group. Because what we need the most is time. Because we need to live a story.Because we are social beings.
The time we take for ourselves! When one signs up for a retreat or a workshop, one makes this decision, not always easy, to give him time to take care of himself. This space belongs to him, offering it to himself is a mark of self-esteem.
When I prepare a retreat or a workshop, I ask myself what I want to share. Which story do I want to tell? What will be the main topic, how will I create the space to contain this story, how will I introduce the plot, and what will the outcome be?
The experience of a group is essential to one’s development and growth. If everyone is ready to share a little of his experience, to expose himself to the group with a feeling of confidence and security, learning becomes a deep transformation. Harmonious life within a group has been our main vector of peaceful evolution, since the dawn of time.
Workshops
It may only last two or three hours or more, and it may take place over one or several days, even over several weeks with x sessions per week. All forms are possible. As for the substance, the thematic workshop aims to emphasize a specific point or a particular technique, allowing the practitioner to resolve a difficulty, to develop a new skill. The difference between a workshop and training is insignificant. A Yoga Nidra workshop, for example, can be done in 5 x 2 hours over 5 weeks, to learn how to practice Yoga Nidra meditation alone.
Yoga vacations
An optional meditation in the morning, but not too early, two yoga sessions per day, delicious meals, and plenty of free time. Time for yourself, to enjoy the surrounding nature, sometimes even excursions, to be part of a tribe, and to meet other yogis and yoginis… I am looking forward to organizing one soon and taking a group to a place heavenly to share yoga practices emphasizing well-being, relaxation, physical and mental restoration, and cohesion within a group.
